seminoles
Part of the speeches reminded me of when Barry Sander's dad inducted Barry into the Hall of Fame. They kept repeating the fact that he is #2 behind Michael Jordan and all the times Michael did something he didn't. I might have gotten madder than the average person since Pippen is my favorite player, but still it seemed a little odd.

Ursa Majoris
Why what did Barry's dad keep refering to? 1205969 The fact that he was still behind Walter Payton, IIRC.

People keep saying Pippen only won six rings because he played with Jordan. IMO, the reverse is equally true.
chiefjay
The fact that he was still behind Walter Payton, IIRC. 1207743 I don't remember the Sanders speech but he always says that Jim Brown is the best rb ever, no question. Note on Pippen: He's a Rosie O'Donnell but didn't deserve the continued MJ references in the speeches if that was the case (didn't see it). As a Piston fan it kind of makes me happy too. isleseeya
Die hard Knicks fan Hate the Bulls and Pippen respect his skills but do not like him ( or how he quit in the playoff game vs Knicks that one time )
godtomsatan
On a related note, the SuperSonics did not retire Olden Polynice's "O" this evening.
