I'm debating picking up Frank Gore and Releasing Michael Bennett?

My League has 1 point for every 10 yds rushing/receiving, 6 points for TD

we are able to have 5 Rbs. I have

D. Davis

J. Wells

C.Dillon

D. Foster

M. Bennett

M Bennet final 2 games against @Bal, CHI

F. Gore Final 2 games against @STL, HOU

Would I be crazy to release a guy whose team is in the playoff hunt and most likely a starter, for a guy who might not get the start?

Thanks in Advanced clap.gif

With Dante Hall moving into the starting lineup, I have a dilemma.

we get 1pt. per reception and 1 pt. per 20yds. but also 1pt. per 20 yds of returns.

I've used Dante a lot and he usually gets a minimum 5pts but mostly 7-9. but with holcomb back, i've switched him out for Moulds. i see moulds getting a TD, but dante could have 3-5 catches and 125 yds returning. that would be upwards of 10 points right there. any opinions?

thanks.

As long as Gore is playing it's not a bad idea. Bennett's matchups are quite tough, though the CHI one moreso. Gore has a chance to put up some impressive numbers if given the opportunity. You'll have to check reports and make sure he's the guy. If so, then I think it's a wise move.

Good Luck!

I like the pickup of Martin. Garrard hasn't been getting it done and of course warner is done for the year.

At RB, go with Larry and Rudi. SA will likely sit a portion of these last 2 games.

At WR go with S. Smith and if Martin plays, then Bruce. If not grab Givens. He's healthy and Brady has been looking for him lately and has a good matchup with the Jets this week.

At DEF I go with Denver at home against the woeful Raiders. Jordan is likely out or at best he's going to be very limited with turf toe and Collins is...well...Collins.

Good Luck!

SuperBowl week - Performance scoring

My question is who to start at QB.

I have Jake Delhomme [vs Dallas]

or I can drop imjured Warner and pick up McCown [vs Philly] and start him.

your thoughts?

1229433

Delhomme. He's got smith to throw to. DAL cannot cover him and McCown is not a good QB, he was benched for a reason when Warner took over in the first place and if not for injury would still be there.

Good Luck!

Hall is a risk. I think Moulds is the safer play. If you're feeling froggy, then jump on Hall and hope the return yards are there. Unless he can get a long pass, his value as a WR is minimal compared to that of Moulds. I think you can bank on some points from Moulds, Huddle has him projected at 80/1 and Hall at 20. While 20 may be a bit low, Hall is still a risk/reward type play. I would go with Moulds.

Good Luck!

Well I am not in the big one yet, thats next week and hopefully I will be there playing against my son. That will be one trash talkin week. Anyhow I have to get there first. My sig has my normal starters. I usually have one player I have to decide between. Here are my choices:

SJax vs 49ers - nice matchup, last week was encouraging until the injury.

Darrell Jackson vs Colts - Came back from injury and did very well.

Drew Bennent @ Dolphins - Good matchup, did well last week.

Rod Smith vs Raiders - Good matchup, very good reciever.

My top choice is Sjax but he has let me down so much I need to ensure I am making the right choice. PLEASE NOTE MY SCORING SYSTEM

Also I started Palmer every game this year (except bye) and I want to play him this week but I have Hasselbeck. Should I stay with Palmer? :D

First, stick with Palmer. I think he plays more during the game and will likely not sit.

Then according to your scoring structure, SJax is probably the best bet as long as he's healthy. Good matchup and RBs generally have the better chance at the most yards. Next I would go with DJax. He's back and he's good. He'll only be more involved this week.

Good Luck!

alright rew..im in a hard spot right now..

salary cap league...

if i start Tiki Barber vs WAS ; then i start Antonio Gates vs KC

or

if i start Shaun Alexander vs INDY ; then i start Jeremy Shockey vs WAS

Scoring:

1 pt every 10 yards rushing/receiving

6 pts per TD

1229692

I like Barber and Gates. Indy has a tough defense and don't know how much SA will play. Gates will be HUGE! Tiki can get it going against WAS, he's been too hot lately and he'll play the whole game.

Good Luck!

If LT Sits

I have some bad choices to go along with Droughns who has a terrible match up:

M. Faulk vs SF (if he gets the start though, I have a starter and the guy I am playing loses his starter)

M Bennett vs Philly ( good run defense )

A Peterson (back up)

D Brown (back up)

any advice??

1229709

Faulk won't start unless SJax is too hurt. You'll have to check that. If MF starts, then he's your play, otherwise I would roll out Bennett. He's the best choice you have for getting you some points.

Good Luck!

Big Week this week

SHould I play

Peyton (probably play 1/2 to 3/4 of the game ) or Garrard vs HOU

and

R Wayne vs SEA

Or

I Bruce vs SF

As usual thanks for the help and thanks for the help throughout the season

1229721

Peyton has some swelling in his knee. You'll need to monitor that closely. I can't see Dungy playing his guys a ton after last week's loss and all the injuries they had. Not sold on Garrard though. He should have lit up the 49ers and HOU usually plays them tough. I think some of Peyton is better than Garrard, but you have to try and find out how much they may play.

I would roll out Bruce with Martin starting. Great matchup. Wayne had back spasms last week so I cannnot see him playing much this week at all.

Good Luck!

Rew...

Pick 1:

T.Holt Vs SF (worried about qb situation)

Or

C.Johnson Vs Buf

also

R.Johnson Vs Buf

Or

Tiki Barber Vs Wash

scoring-

1 pt every 10 yards receiving/rushing yds

6 pts per td

1229921

Chad and Rudi. I expect to see a show this week from Cincy. They are hot right now and should give BUF fits. Barber is playing well too, but I like the matychup with Rudi much better. And it's the holidays so CJ wants to have somethinge xtra special for his endzone dance. He's almost a guranteed lock to score and will have a nice game against BUF.

Good Luck!

Chambers presents matchup problems for TEN. I like him this week. McCown presents problems for his own offense and Philly will be blitzing him all day.

Then I say McNair for the reason about McCown just stated above.

Good Luck!

In league 1 I need a 3rd WR to go alongside C. Johnson and S. Smith

I've got:

Drew Bennett vs. Miami

B.Stokely vs. Seattle

R. Moss vs. Denver

I've ridden Moss all year long and have managed to still go 13-1 in reg. season. He obviously is but a shadow of what he used to be. In my league we get points for rec., which Bennett showed up big last week. Scoring is :

3pts. / rec

1pt./ 10 yds gained

2pt. bonuses at 100yds/125yds/150 yds

6pt./ td

In league 2 my main receiver is S. Smith. I also have Wayne and A. Johnson. I'm concerned as to how much Wayne will play and have the following options to insert for him:

Stallworth

I. Bruce

Scoring is the same as above except only 2pts. / reception instead of 3

For the first one, I would ride Bennett this week. He's big and be able to cause a mismatch for the MIA CBs. Moss will be lined up with Bailey, not a good matchup for him. Stokely doesn't get enough opps to make him viable.

for the second, I like Bruce this week with Martin starting.

Good Luck!
