kpholmes
About a month before the release of the 360, my original Xbox started having some serious issues. Almost every time I turned it on it made a clicking noise over and over, and after about 15 seconds went to an error message telling me to call support. I wouldn't really care too much because I have a 360, but the Madden 06 is much better gameplay and feature wise on the original xbox, so I still like to play on that. I have another Xbox I won at a raffel awhile back that I currently play on, but I want to update rosters and my Live Account is on the Clickity Xbox. Has anyone encountered this problem with their Xbox and/or know if I can move my live account to the raffel xbox with out having to sit on the phone with support for an hour or so? Thanks. Shotgun Messiahs
Sounds like the drive is having problems reading. Try cleaning it. One way to clean it would be to fill up the bath tub. Drop the XBox in it. Remove. Let it dry for about a week. If this doesn't work Start Over and Repeat the instructions.

It really gets in the nook and crannies...
bigmike4969
As far as xbox live transfer goes, I got this info from Xbox.com. Hope that this helps in that department. Xbox Live Account Recovery As far as your clicking noise...yeah it sounds like the drive is going. Not sure how to help you there.
Deacon Bill
This website is quite handy for solving XBox woes. I ended up having to by a new drive to fix a "dirty or damaged disc" prompt I kept getting. Apparently the "junk" Thomsen drive that many xbox's came with, has caused troubles for many owners. It's simple to replace, and I got my new drive in 3 days.
kpholmes
Deacon, will definetly check that out. And Mike, I recovered the gamertag on the Raffle Xbox, thanks a lot.
Egret
Yep. It sounds like the drive is going bad. You can buy a new one and install it yourself if you're handy.
