Puddy
For years, I bought my ink cartridges at Best Buy for like $30 for black and $35 for color. Last year I decided to try an aftermarket cartridge for the first time. I have to tell you it's amazing the money I save now. I get 3-packs for like $15 including shipping. I don't have any problems with them either (maybe the odor is a little stronger when the ink is wet). Why didn't I realize this a long time ago Anyone else use aftermarket or stick to the manufacturer's cartridges?
bigmike4969
I too was buying them from retail stores for quite some time. I get mine from eBay now. Aftermarket is with me.
Jimmy Neutron
I use the Corporate Express brand at work instead of HP and I can't tell the difference - other than the bill.
Puddy
Here's where I buy mine. I have bought from them several times. Did I mention free shipping.... Anyone know if there are aftermarket Dell cartridges. I know if you buy a Dell printer you can forget about buying OEM cartridges except thru them. Randall
Lexmark practically gives printers away because of all the money they make on ink. Talk about over charging. Canon and Epson are the best imo because oif the savings on ink. Less than $2 VS $20-30.

Ursa Majoris
All the printer manufacturers are at this game. We have a new color laser and it costs about $1,000 to renew the toner cartridges.
