geeteebee
I'm hosting our home game this week and it is pretty standard, $20 buy-in tournament style with increasing blinds. We usually try to add something different to each game as well such as a $5 knock-out chip or a $5 high hand pot, but you have to call the hand at the time and you have to at least see the turn to qualify. We use these frequently and may alternate throughout the night so I was trying to think of some other side pot that we could do. Has anybody seen other ways to spice up the betting? Big Country
Since it is tourney style, and if this is a regular monthly game with the same group of guys, consider putting a bounty on the past month's winner. Whichever player knocks the previous month's winner out of the tourney wins the bounty, and if the previous month's winner repeats he wins the bounty money. geeteebee
That's not a bad idea. Since we have multiple games we could draw a card to determine the target for the first game and then have the winner of each game be the target.
