Duchess Jack
Everyone let me know what you think.... I have been crunching the nos. I want to make this as fair as possible.... How about, prior to the draft... every homer can choose his/her choice of.... Any 1 homer player 1-25 Any 2 homer players 26 or lower or Any 3 homer players 51 or lower.... plus D and kicker Here's a sample list of players from 'the site that shall not be named'. If anything, I think that the 2 player from 26 or lower folk are getting hooked up...... I think that it is all coming together... oh... and we might also want to say that out of a roster of 18, 6 (maybe 7) player should be of the homer team because there are teams (Jets) who if you make them carry more than 6-7, it will really ruin their depth Overall Pos Player Team/Bye 1 RB1 Larry Johnson KC/3 2 RB2 LaDainian Tomlinson SD/3 3 RB3 Shaun Alexander SEA/5 4 RB4 Clinton Portis WAS/8 5 RB5 Tiki Barber NYG/4 6 RB6 Lamont Jordan OAK/3 7 RB7 Ronnie Brown MIA/8 8 RB8 Edgerrin James ARI/9 9 RB9 Steven Jackson STL/7 10 RB10 Cadillac Williams TB/4 11 RB11 Rudi Johnson CIN/5 12 RB12 Domanick Davis HOU/5 13 RB13 Willis McGahee BUF/8 14 QB1 Peyton Manning IND/6 15 RB14 Brian Westbrook PHI/9 16 WR1 Chad Johnson CIN/5 17 RB15 Kevin Jones DET/8 18 RB16 Julius Jones DAL/3 19 WR2 Steve Smith CAR/9 20 WR3 Larry Fitzgerald ARI/9 21 RB17 Reuben Droughns CLE/6 22 WR4 Torry Holt STL/7 23 RB18 Jamal Lewis BAL/7 24 WR5 Randy Moss OAK/3 25 TE1 Antonio Gates SD/3 26 WR6 Terrell Owens DAL/3 27 WR7 Marvin Harrison IND/6 28 RB19 Willie Parker PIT/4 29 WR8 Anquan Boldin ARI/9 30 WR9 Darrell Jackson SEA/5 31 RB20 Thomas Jones CHI/7 32 QB2 Matt Hasselbeck SEA/5 33 RB21 Warrick Dunn ATL/5 34 WR10 Chris Chambers MIA/8 35 WR11 Hines Ward PIT/4 36 TE2 Tony Gonzalez KC/3 37 RB22 Chester Taylor MIN/6 38 WR12 Reggie Wayne IND/6 39 WR13 Santana Moss WAS/8 40 WR14 Donald Driver GB/6 41 WR15 Roy Williams DET/8 42 RB23 Deuce McAllister NO/7 43 TE3 Jeremy Shockey NYG/4 44 WR16 Plaxico Burress NYG/4 45 WR17 Javon Walker DEN/4 46 WR18 Andre Johnson HOU/5 47 RB24 Tatum Bell DEN/4 48 RB25 Reggie Bush NO/7 49 QB3 Tom Brady NE/6 50 RB26 Ahman Green GB/6 51 QB4 Donovan McNabb PHI/9 52 RB27 Corey Dillon NE/6 53 WR19 Deion Branch NE/6 54 RB28 DeShaun Foster CAR/9 55 TE4 Alge Crumpler ATL/5 56 WR20 Joe Horn NO/7 57 RB29 Curtis Martin NYJ/9 58 RB30 Chris Brown TEN/7 59 RB31 Dominic Rhodes IND/6 60 RB32 Fred Taylor JAX/6 61 RB33 Lendale White TEN/7 62 QB5 Eli Manning NYG/4 63 WR21 Joey Galloway TB/4 64 RB34 Joseph Addai IND/6 65 QB6 Marc Bulger STL/7 66 WR22 T.J. I think that it is all coming together... 1472072 I think we should all have to have the same number of homer picks for each team, but if a particular NFL team has a lot more studs (ranked players) then maybe they have to take their homer picks earlier in the draft... the NFL teams with fewer (or no) studs maybe have to take one homer pick right away, and then the rest whenever they want... something like that. And to the idea of automatically having your team's K and DST.
nuke'em ttg
yo DJ, the pre-draft homer picks...... are you sayin a 1-25 homer and 2 more below 26 .......or are they seperate choices :doah:

Then we kick off the draft... Duchess Jack
Looking good. Once this gets off the ground, how do we want to do the payouts. With $25 from each of 32 people - that gives us $800. I figure... $100 between MFL and the paypal fees (unless a league this big costs more) leaves us with $700 I imagine that we'd follow regular NFL rules for playoffs, starting in week 13.... $350 for Superbowl Winner $150 for Superbowl Loser $50 for Conferance Champ losers ($100 total) $25 for Division/Wildcard Round Losers ($100 total) Does that work out ? $700 Edited May 19, 2006 by Duchess Jack

Duchess Jack
when this baby fills up, when you thinkin draft ???? how will it work? 1478429 We'll need to start early because - at rosters 18 deep, we're looking at 512 players.. I think that once we get our owners... everyone takes thier kickers and Ds... we pass everyone their 1, 2 of 3 keepers and we'll draft via MFL... That's a slow process... so again.... we should move on this asap.... Right now I have 18 rounds projected, but it might be more realistic to go 16, I am not sure. I am fine with 18, but some folk might feel that that is too deep.
Zooty
I'm interested but I have a question (Edit to Add Philly) Is this redraft or Dynasty? I'm assuming Dynasty? I'm trying to figure out how to fill an 18 man roster? Start QB (Team??) RB WR WR TE Flex DEF K (Team??) That's 8 Roster Filler RBs- 2 WRs-3 TE-1 That's another 6 That brings it to 14, if there are no Team QB than it could push to 15, maybe 16 Edited May 22, 2006 by Zooty
