We've been over ths before. It's sour grapes and nothing more.

1. & 2. The print press is overwhelmingly liberaly biased. If there was a problem, you can bet the NY Times would be all over it.

3. & 4. With regard to those living abroad - maybe if they really cared, they'd come back and vote. This isn't like it was in 2000 where the demonrats didn't want to count the votes of our servicemen, this is probably due to not only our slow mail system, but also the mail system of foreign countries. Who is to say which way these people would vote. Maybe these people are a bunch of rich republicans who are tired of seeing their taxes spent on crack whores so move to a more tax friendly government.

5. I really have no answer to this. Maybe the site crashed. Again though, who is to say these votes would have been for Kerry?

6. & 7. And demonrats slashed the tires of buses carrying republicans to vote. This is truely unfortunate, but to say that this just happenst one side if ridiculous.

8. & 9. The voting machine failed to count some votes. Do people really think a computer is biased? Who is to say that those votes would be from dems and not republicans?

10. Again, who says that those were votes for Kerry and not for Bush? It's not like people were stuffing ballot boxes in Chicago. We have never and probably will never have a copletely clean election, because machines and computers do fail.

11. Was left out so no response.

12. & 13. How do we know that the 357,000 people unable to vote in Ohio were largely demonrats? Because RFK Jr. says so? He's from a family known for it's honesty.

14. This is just conspiracy crap. Who is in charge of registration in Ohio? How many of these were not allowed to vote because they were fellons, illegal, or dead?

15. Where is the proof of this? Why haven't we heard this before? Why hasn't Kerry stood up and said something about this? Why aren't Harry Reid, and Nacy P. up there screaming about this?

This is nothing more than political sour grapes and a partisan hack job.

Nope, it started much earlier then that. :D

Well, when you're left with this administration, there's not much more to do then name-calling.

You got it backwards..when this administration is left with ALL the work from the last administration plus what is going on right now. you get problems.

Perch - if you're going to pass yourself off as a logic expert, did you seriously write "do people really think a computer is biased?" because if you did I ask you" do you think computers are born unbiased, or might there be the matter of the programmer to take into account as to how it performs?

To disimiss any part of this with "it's been done before" and "nothing is perfect" is the hieght of laziness: why not try to make it better for all involved? Or do you really think it's coincidence that lines stretched for hours in poor black neighborhoods?

Oh absolutely, they were left with all that nasty surplus to tidy up, the deficit to rebuild and awar to start to blame it on. They were swamped.

Sorry, but my opinion is that this administration has created many of their own problems that aren't related to Willie getting a BJ from the fat chick.

Maybe if the DNC hadn't run out of booze and smokes earlier in the day and had to go get some more, the lines wouldn't have been so bad there at the end :D

You mean the deficit that was already consistantly going downwards while Clinton was in office and bottomed out at 911. I always love when democrats point to this when trying to dog Bush. the country did great when AL GORE discovered the computer huh?. and the computer age is the only thing that saved Clinton from being known as the putz he is, and the funny thing is, he had no control over that. he was just lucky enough to be in office at the time.

You want to blame deficits, look at your welfare system. there has never been a bigger drain on any economy.

I made it that far

So you have nothing to say about the merits of the article. You can save time by just typing "pad."

Like, OMG! Bush is SUCH a LIAR! :D

Do you ever plan to discuss any issue here, or are you just going to continue to play the role of Mini-Spain? If you just want to post pad, that's cool and all, but at least try switching it up now and then.

The problems of deceptive (and downright illegal) election tactics in past elections by BOTH sides have been well documented for decades, even centuries. As long as humans are involved and there is power/$ at stake, this will go on. Why do you think there is so much voter apathy? Most do not trust that justice will be done.

The question is: how do we prevent the abusues from happening again? How can technology and/or better systems and controls help? That's the tough part, but somebody somewhere is getting paid a lot of money (from one side or both sides) to figure it out. Maybe if there was a bipartisan coalition in place to accomplish more election fairness, it would have a chance. But I seriously doubt it....
