The Argument for Patrick Kerney

Patrick Kerney is coming off a disappointing season where owners expected much more than the 38 tackles, 15 assists, and 6.5 sacks, compared to 54 tackles, 11 assists and 12 sacks in 2004.

Kerney's numbers should improve with the addition of John Abraham to take some pressure off him on the other side of the DL. But Kerney now also has 2 solid DT that can also get to the ball carrier, which could limit his ability to rack up tackles like he did in 2004.

The Defense believes Kerney will have a solid season, and expects somewhere in between the 2004 and 2005 numbers.

I like the stats you gave because I think Abraham will be the stud this year while Kerney will put up some nice numbers even with his knowledge of the defense.

I think teams will run at Kerney more this season with the addition of Abraham giving him a number of more tackles this season with a slight increase of sacks from last year too.

I agree with the projection.... so voted better, since there is no same ballot. Abraham will get more attentrion, especially when the RB pass protects. That should help his sack numbers.

numbers look pretty good but how many sacks can Abraham/Coleman and Kerney split up?

with that said I am goin to lean a bit worse but could easily vote a bit better...the numbers look pretty darn good

Good threads Pvt. Ryan. :D

Keep up the good work and you'll earn your Corporal's stripes, in no time flat.

Then maybe (gasp!) even your Sgt.'s stripes
