Chad
I have a chance to get Kitna (and Rod Smith) and he wants Mcnair and Colston (I might be able to get him to take Toomer instead of Colston). My real concern is if Trent Green will be back for week 8. Kitna and Losman are both off week 8. My roster TGreen, JPLosman, SMcNair (start 1) RBrown, KJones, DRhodes, RMoats, LWashington (start 2) BBerrian, ABoldin, MColston, AToomer, DMason (start 3) His Roster Garcia, Kitna, McNabb MAnderson, TBell, RDayne, DFoster, LJohnson DBennett, CChambers, KMcCardell, RMoss, RSmith Any thoughts on if I should do this. Thanks a bunch

jake_the_builder
At least I can trust you Menudo, you are a Steelers fan like me!!!! Ok, team is in sig. Would you pull the trigger on this deal? P.Manning, Portis and Scheffler for V.Young, L.J. and Driver? I am countering with Hasselbeck instead of VYoung since I am not completely sold on having Leinart/VYoung as my only QB's. Thanks in advance.
CiminoUM5
Menudo, this is my squad in one of my leagues (10 teams, .5ppc, 1ppr, 30 yards per passing point, 10 yards per rushing and receiving point, 3 point bonus at 300, 100, and 150 yards, respectively) QB - Bledsoe, Leinhart RB - McGahee, Edge, Gore, K. Jones, Jones-Drew WR - Fitz, Wayne, Jennings, Evans, Welker TE - Shockey, Cooley K - Kaeding D - Atlanta, Carolina We start 1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, and 1 W/R. Obviously I've got a pretty stacked team, and I'm currently tied for 1st at 5-1. (technically about 20 points behind the leader) A guy in the league is somewhat desperate for a RB and just offered me Drew Bennett and Kennison for Jones-Drew, which I'm obviously going to reject. My question is, should I leave success alone and stay put, or counter and try and get something better? The only guys he's got worth mentioning (once you take out his RBs) are Grossman, Sa. Moss, Stallworth, T. Gonzalez, and Baltimore's D. FWIW, QBs are pretty valuable in this league, accounting for 14 of the top 15 in points thus far. I'm not terribly confident in Bledsoe at this point, though I do like Leinhart as a backup. Should I counter and try to get Grossman, who's #7 overall in points and whose value probably took a hit last night? Granted, he hasn't had his bye yet, but IIRC Chicago's got a pretty weak schedule the rest of the year. I should also point out that Alex Smith is next in points at #8 and Favre is at 13 or 14, and both are FAs. I was also considering Stallworth. Once he gets healthy (maybe this week?) I imagine he'll be back to being McNabb's #1, and it wouldn't hurt to have him, especially with Fitz being out. But I'm not exactly struggling for depth with Wayne and Jennings as my starters for the time being. I just don't see much need for Jones-Drew with the ridiculous depth I've got at RB, with the exception of week 8, when McGahee and Jones have byes and Gore goes against Chicago's D. mpower
Menudo, Great advice from you last week, thanks! Hope you have time to help me again this week. I have Hasselbeck (plays MIN), Vick (plays Pit) and Kitna (plays NYJ). I should probably start Hasselbeck, he did well for me last week. Should I look to trade Vick or Kitna? At wideout I have R. Brown (plays TB), A. Johnson (plays Jac), Isaac Bruce on BYE and D. Gabriel (plays Buf). I was thinking of starting Brown and Johnson. What do you think? Running backs will be my weak spot. I have S. Jackson on bye, K. Jones (plays NYJ), D. Rhodes (plays Was) and Chester Taylor (plays Sea). Jones did great last week. Do you think he can repeat? And C. Taylor is coming off a bye. I know I have too many QB's. I have L.J. Smith and David Akers going on Bye at the same time in week 9. Should I dump Kitna for another tight end, or try to figure something else out? My D is Pitt, which is steady. Thanks!

Menudo
We start three WRs and one QB. At WR I have Holt, TO, Driver, Jennings, Stallworth, R. Moss. At QB I have Bledsoe and Brees. I've been offered Carson Palmer for Brees and R. Moss. Should I do it and why/why not? Unless Moss turns things around or I face significant injury problems I am unlikely to ever play him. Make the deal.

Menudo
Right now my team is a lucky 5-1. I doubt my team will continue winning with Brad Johnson, Alex Smith and Joey Harrington. I can make a move for Brees or Delhomme, but I'd need to move one of my RB's in either trade. Is that a trade worth pursuing? Which would you rather have? QB- B. Johnson, A. Smith, J. Harrington RB- K. Jones, L. Jordan, T. Jones, M. Jones-Drew, M. Smith WR- D. Driver, A. Bryant, D. Mason, W. Welker, T. Williamson TE- Gates K- Gould D- Philly Definitely worth pursuing, and I would rather have Delhomme
