Kansas State 2000
In light of the unacceptable officiating in today's games that allowed all of the Texas teams to lose, the Big 12 Conference has announced suspensions of officials involved in the following contests: Texas-Kansas State; Texas Tech-Oklahoma; Nebraska-Texas A&M; and Oklahoma State-Baylor. All of the officials will receive two game suspensions, except the official who called delay of game on Texas for simulating the cadence of the offense. That official has been banned for life. In announcing the suspensions, Big 12 Commissioner Kevin Weiberg said "This conference exists by, for, and of the Texas schools, especially the University of Texas. We will not tolerate days like today, when all the Texas schools lose, in this conference. Game officials must be held accountable for allowing this to happen." Grits and Shins
Sadly Mr. Franchione's piss poor play calling had more to do with A&M's loss than any zebra.
