Well I got the draft started with LT at 1.1 but I did give consideration to SJax but in the end I dont think SJax has 20+ TD upside like LT does.

Redraft I follow your thinking. Dynasty I go S Jax!

I seriously considered LJ here. His rushing TDs are hard to ignore, and he will be more involved in the passing game. Will Jackson really have 90 catches for 806 yards receiving again, I highly doubt it. And before the last 3 weeks of the 2006 campaign, he was well off his season ending pace. Jackson gained a total of 419 rushing yards, six rushing touchdowns and had 126 receiving yards with two more scores. (courteous of the huddle rankings)

Though Jackson may seem like a no brainer here, I seriously wouldn't be surprised if LJ was the #1 back next yr.

Didnt expect the Rudi pick BB.

The guy is soild as a rock production-wise. Hard to not like him late in the 1st round. Could have gone Bush with the 0.5 ppr but I like that Johnson doesn't have to share as well as his track record. It's an uber-safe pick.

Ubersafe is why it surprised me.

I like the way UiG started and am very curious to see how his draft pans out. It's gutsy, but this is exactly what mock drafts are for, as long as owners are making credible picks.

Yeah i'm curious to see just how bad his RB's suck. I've seen this before and it rarely pans out well RB wise.

Yeah, that may be true, but there's a lot more to the socring in an IDP and I want to see who drops to him on the next turn. It's a good way to run in a mock - go unconventional, again, as long as it is credible. Manning & Smith are reasonable value picks where he made them.

I'm not disagreeing with you and I will watch his draft closely as it is another strategy that can be employed depending on your draft position. I have really been looking forward to this draft as I think we will see some solid drafting as well as many different ways to skin a cat (so to speak).

I forgot to take my RB Viagra this morning. With 12 teams drafting each a maximum of 3 RBs per team, that would be a total of 36 RBs drafted. Even if I ended up with RBs that are ranked in the 30s, I could still end up with guys like Chester Taylor, Cadillac, Barber III, etc... By going Manning and Smith, I have got the (in many peoples minds) the top WR and the top QB. At the 1.12 and 2.01 there was a bigger projected dropoff (in 23 picks) at QB and WR then there is at RB.

Add 12 RB's to that math as we take 1 for the flex position. :D

Everyone keep in mind the draft requirements. We all have the same number of players per position on our roster.

2 QBs

3 RBs

3 WRs

2 Flex - (1 RB and 1 Wr here to give you 4 total at each position. )

2 TE

2 K

3 DL

4 LB

4 DB

= 25 rounds
