I seem to have contracted a nasty virus, I came home today and my son had his profile up with numerous pop ups offering spam blockers, spy ware blockers and such, he had also tried to run a virus scan (Trend Micro PC cillin) which showed complete, finding no viruses and numerous spy ware. As I tried to close out of everything it poped up saying I had to reboot to complete the cleaning, Well when it came back up as soon as I log on it immediately logs me back off and It does the same for my profile and his. Step 2: The only suggestion I could make at this point is to try to boot into safe mode and run your virus scan again. When you boot up the computer, start tapping the F8 key. This should give you a boot menu which includes an option to boot into safe mode. Hopefully you will be able to run your virus scan in this mode and have a better chance to clean it up. If this does not work also try disconnecting your internet connection. There are some viruses that log you out as sson as you log on or reboot your pc after 60 sec.
