SuperCharger
Wow. What is the Miami or Jets line going to be? 30+?
Zooty
Vegas must be losing badly on Pats games. Scary part is they'll probably cover again and the line will go up as the week goes on.
MTSuper7
The amazing part is that they cover virtually every week anyway. It has to be tempting to take the points... Better to just stay away.

xMRogers
Having rode the Pats all year, vegas is getting killed (the concept of "money on both sides" is a crock btw - they are getting killed because everyone is riding them). 9-1 ag. spread (cleveland was lucky, and lost to colts- rest were mostly demolitions) Having also rode the Eagles all year to a 5-5 record....time to even out a bit - take the points. (if it was anyone but the Eagles, I'd say "what are you crazy - ride the train")

I was thinking the line would have been

fballfreak
Can we have a limit of Patriots threads? You should start a Miami thread.
detlef
It's getting to Tiger Woods levels here. Where you'd think it is absolute folly to only get 2:1 or 5:2 odds on a single golfer in a tourney. Then you think about and realize that he's pretty much even money to win each week. That line is absurd. Not because it's a bad bet, because they're making a mockery of the entire league. I mean, is there any reason to think they won't cover? Thing is though, Philly is a .500 team! Sure they're likely playing with their back-up QB, but I can't remember a team getting more than 3 freaking TDs ever. Let alone playing against someone who doesn't have the inside track on the 1st pick in the draft. Well, that's an interesting twist, NE actually has a decent shot at the 1st pick and they're the one's laying 23.5.
Randall
You should start a Miami thread. I agree with TimC We should invade Canada and teach dem cheaters a lesson.
i_am_the_swammi
line opened at -17.....huge money jumped on the Pats from the get-go, and now will take the Eagles at +23.5, and hope the final score lands in the middle so they can win both wagers....a 6-7 point move in the spread is unheard of. Sleeping King
I can't confirm it since I can't find a book with the line but my buddy said the moneyline for the Pats was -1100.
MustOfBeenDrunk
sports.com has taken the game off the board ?
Mark5
The line on the Pats/Dolphin game should be about 29.. If Brady comes up missing VEGAS probably has something to do with it... And yes, the Pats line is uncharted NFL territory..
CaptainHook
that is a crazy number!
Avernus
I just put my bet in for pats -22.5 what a steal!!!
Ramhock
The line on the Pats/Dolphin game should be about 29. With the mission Belichick has sold his players and the comments by Shula, I would feel comfy laying 50. Is it possible that that game would be taken off the board? Hugh-mongus
Vegas has no choice but to set HUGH lines for the Pats. The way the Pats have been playing all season, it's obvious they will not let up even when their lead seems insurmountable. This style of play is forcing the unprecedented lines.
