rajncajn
I've been hearing rumors on the Saints boards that they might be interested in him. Anybody have the dish on him & if he'd be ready to step on an NFL field right away?
darin3
He's going to need a pretty good combine to warrant the Saints taking him at #10 (assuming that's what you're referring to). I think he's more of a 2nd round type of pick, unless he has an incredible workout/combine. He's only 6' (maybe) so maybe a London Fletcher-Baker comparison? He's got solid technique and was well-coached. Stoops said he was one of the best LB he's ever coached.... so take that for what it's worth. budlitebrad
Lofton could possibly move up to a top 20 pick with a really solid workout. I would take Rivers if going for a LB. That guy was amazing at the Senior Bowl. Saints have a lot of options to add to their defense, as they could look to take Rivers, Ellis (if he somehow falls), McKelvin, Phillips. Scout.com has Rivers going to the Bengals at 9. Ellis had such a good Senior Bowl I doubt he falls far. They have the Jets taking him at 6. Tford
Many mocks have the Saints going LB in the second round with Lofton or Mayo, whichever one is there.
