Yea... I had a few other guys in mind, but couldn't really justify taking the 2nd/3rd tier of other positions over a DE who has Top 10 potential scoring at his position.

Makes sense. He's going to be good.

It's a Long family OAK connection thing, right?

Looking back on my trade of the top pick-

I traded the top pick in this draft for 2 vet and 3 rookie picks. I then traded the last of those picks for 7 rookie picks.I wanted to trade out because RB's aren't required in this league. SF did likewise i trading 1.01 and 2.01 rookie picks for Braylon Edwards.

Not wanting running backs is weird.

So far my trade is 1.01 Adrian Peterson for...

Steve Smith Car(only veteran pick)

Phillip RiversLB

Kenny Phillips(eventual Gibril Wilson replacement)

Dustin Keller TE

and 7 more rookie picks to come.

Sorry man. I thought you'd grab him earlier but I only have 1 TE and need another. He could be like Witten if they can get him the ball.

I think he is going to be very productive in the Jets system...especially in the red zone (assuming Pennington is going to QB).

I wasnt expecting him to land to me in the next round..good pickup meh thinks

I'm actually surprised he lasted this long. I've seen him go ALOT earlier..as high as a top 10 rookie pick in some IDP leagues. I like him too, but not that early.

I took him 1.12 in CBFL league (12 person dynasty). I like him ALOT but I had other needs in this league I had to address.

In the original ATAP he went 44.15.

I am high on him...he can get many tackles in Carolina. I dont see this being a real stretch

Yeah, there are cupcakes in both leagues...

I just have a difficult time seeing him as a better LB than Mayo (2nd rounder in both leagues - shocked the bejeebers out of me right there), Adibi, or Gooden.

Right now, Connor is listed behind both Diggs & Johnson. While those 2 are top-of-the-league studly LBs, they aren't dog#### either. Connor has his work cut out for him just to get on the field.

You know I never really understood that pick. Connor's a MLB. Why mess with Beason's success there? Why not leave him there and draft a WLB like Adibi, Gooden, Keglar in a later round?

Brandon Flowers is a STEAL at 45.16

Thanks guys.

Gosh, you must be - by far - the best fantasy football owner of all time. I mean, really. :D

Cuz not only were each of your vet picks the BEST EVER, but it looks like you're doing the same with your rookie picks. All the guys should just send you the league fees right now. :D

:D I got Flowers at 46.10 in ATAP. Granted I did move up to get him, because THERE he was a steal.

I like Keller a lot - maybe not this year - but in a year or two I think he'll be one of those "value picks"... like Owen Daniels may be this year.
