Caveman_Nick
Â Â Â Â --- Â I'm running with an in-progress blog for my team, located on the writers' blogs section on the main page, for those of you that care to take a peek into my pea-brained approach to drafting. Â Â I have this going on in my blog as well, but I will not be publishing it until later in the draft, or possibly even after the draft. There are some notes in here at picks about players I was thinking about and hat might still be on the board.

Caveman_Nick
I thought we might have a little CB run there. I was not sure how I would go with it, but Trufant and Tillman were my top 2 rated CBs. Maybe some folks like other players better, but for me it was tough not to take Tillman after several CBs had come off the board. FWIW I had Tillman rated higher than Trufant, but guessed he was more likely to drop. It paid off.

Robash
For those that are interested, I may start up a sister league just like this if there are enough people. Nothing official, just something I had in mind right now. If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM and we can see where it goes.  bump

Hugh 0ne
Ryan Grant #40 overall and Reggie Bush #16? I have these two reversed. Â I think Bush may have gone a little early, but no way I take Grant over Bush. Grant has tons of question marks, especailly the fact that he no longer has Favre at QB. Caveman_Nick
Ryan Grant #40 overall and Reggie Bush #16? I have these two reversed. Â Â Counting only weeks after GB's bye, Grant was a top RB in PPG last year....would have been #6. Bush was #9 RB in PPG last year and #11 in 2006. Add in that Favre retired and Grant has Brandon Jackson and Deshawn Wynn barking up his tree, and I can see why Grant fell a bit.

Swiss Cheezhead
Ryan Grant #40 overall and Reggie Bush #16? I have these two reversed. Â Most people around here know I'm not a big Reggie Bush fan, but there are two major things that played in to the decision to draft him at 16: Â 1) It's a PPR league. Bush has shown he can be consistently productive in yardage and catches. Â 2) It's a dynasty league, so I look for players who won't be falling off the map anytime soon. I don't believe Bush will ever be a complete running back in the NFL, but he's going to be a huge staple of the Saints offense for a long, long time -- probably his entire career. In a league like this, you can't afford to bust any of your early-round picks.
