The site is still not loading at all for me. I'm talking about the main site (www.thehuddle.com), not the forum site. Firefox, IE, both won't load just that site. Game day is tomorrow, I need to get in.

Use Firefox and add Adblock Plus. Make sure to download the filters for it. No more ads and site is quick.

I use FF, and tried the Ad blocker, but I saw no speed up at all. It seemed like the blocker had to analyze each one anyway.

Are you still seeing the banner? If so, it's not getting blocked. You need to download a filter for adblock.

Are you using adblock or adblock plus. If the former, get rid rid of it and install the latter. Subscribe to the Easylist filters and refresh. Should eliminate nearly all the ads on any site you visit and make for a faster browsing experience.
