Guest krad
Anybody out there? Thoughts on how Larry Hughes will do for the rest of the season w/ the muddled GS backcourt vs. the up and coming Joe Johnson. Kid has looked pretty good lately and Hughes is not a point gaurd. Sportsline H2H league, so total points (1 per point, 2 per assist/block, 1 per steal, -1 per turnover) is more important than any one category. I don't think Johnson will be around for much longer, so any help is much appreciated.
Guest JimmyK
I picked up Joe Johnson last week and got rid of Ron Mercer. I'm a Boston guy and let me tell ya...O'Brien (and the Boston fans) love this kid. He is doing everthing for the team and is getting a lot of free looks at the basket thanks to Pierce & Walker. He is logging a lot of minutes because of Eric Williams knee & grion injury. Can hit the 3, anyone who overplays him, he'll dish off to P & W for the open shot (I predict some good #'s in assists), and plays very good defense. To date he has been assigned to Payton, Jordon, Jason Kidd, Ray Allen and Reggie Miller. If he is available in your league...HE'S A STEAL!!!!! He will see a lot of time. GOOD LUCK! Guest krad
Thanks for the input guys. I dropped Hughes and picked up Johnson. I'm a chowd fan since my dad grew up in New Bedford, so it will be fun rooting for him. Now my problem is at forward. After a good first week, MoPete has disappeared. Problem is, I've got McDyss on the bench w/ no IR spot. I can drop MoPete and pick up Hughes (if no one else snags him off waivers). Available forwards are D. Glover, Al Harrington (getting good minutes), R. Fox, and C. Mills, L. Ellis, and Jumaine Jones. Do you think I should hang on to Peterson, pick up another forward, or go w/ six gaurds (I can start five) and pick up Hughes. Only other decent G is Avery Johnson (getting alot of assists). My roster is as follows. Start 10 (4G, 4F, 1C, 1 utility): Parker, Tony Johnson, Joe Armstrong, Darrell Bibby, Mike Allen, Ray Wright, Lorenzen Thomas, Kenny Mashburn, Jamal Szczerbiak, Wally O'Neal, Shaquille McDyess, Antonio Peterson, Morris Ratliff, Theo Sorry so long, thanks for the help.
