mhorn
I have N Barnett in my league where we only start 1 LB. His tackle numbers haven't been there. Should I drop him and pick up one of these guys off of the waiver wire? Webster, Nate DEN LB Williams, DJ DEN LB Briggs, Lance CHI LB Ruud, Barrett TBB LB Hawk, A.J. GBP LB Jackson, D'Qwell CLE LB Henderson, E.J. MIN LB Dansby, Karlos ARI LB Leagues scoring system: Fumble Recoveries 2 points each Forced Fumbles 1 point each Interceptions Caught 2 points each Passes Defensed 1 point each Blocked Field Goals 4 points each Blocked Punts 3 points each Blocked Extra Points 2 points each Tackles 1.5 points each Assists 0.5 points each Sacked a QB 2 points each Safeties 4 points each Defensive TDs 6 points each
stokers
I think Barnett will start picking it up, but if you don't want to wait, I would pickup either D.J Williams or Rudd with Hawk as my 3rd choice.
MrTed46
No way i'd drop NB for Hawk
TheShiznit
1.) Jackson 2.) williams 3.) Henderson 4.) Ruud 5.) Briggs Nick Barnett is a stud....but IMHO...the top three will out perform him this year....with Ruud and Briggs either keeping pace or barely exceeding Barnett's production. Belushi
I'd pick up Williams. I won Barnett and he's been very disappointing. I'm using Julian Peterson over him in week 5.
AFRO
Maybe you can try to trade him? possibly in a package to upgrade another position. then pick up ... DJ Wills. (4-3;WLB) > Ruud. (Cvr2;MLB) > D'Jacks. (3-4;ROLB so there is the sack potential) EJ Henderson (Cvr2 MLB) is nice too. D'Jackson has been awefully eyebrow raising in himself. then drop whom ever you land through the trade. I also am of the opinion that NBarnett will ride out the funk and start producing more tackles, and other statistics. so keep him. Which is why you may want just Bench him; or suck it up and start him... I own him in a league, and he is under producing, but is he Waiver Fodder? but then again Ruud, DJWills and D'Jacks ALL on your waiver, wow.. I think these guys will do you some good, but You must Do which you deem BEST for the team though..if he must go it must be done.

I really like Ruud for the remainder of the season. He's really coming into his own in the Cover-2. Where I really like Ruud, I really do NOT like D'Qwell Jackson's prospects for the remainder of the season. He'll be too inconsistent to start on a regular basis in a league like the original poster's. I love Barnett, but he's going to have some inconsistency, as will Hawk. They do feed off each other, but also vulture stats from one another. I like Henderson, but his recent injury would give me pause. I could see a situation where you'd bench Barnett, pick up Ruud, and play the hotter LB in the best matchup.
