Out of curiosity anybody know who is in Yes these days, besides Anderson. they are playing here at the HOB in Feb and was thinking about checking it out.

Nevermind amazing enough Anderson is the only one not in the group and Wakeman's son is doing keyboards and looks just like dad. Anybody heard anything by them with this David Benoit dude singing. Just can't imagine Yes without Anderson's vocals.

I have believed that BRMC's "Howl" is one of the better albums of last decade. Top 10 for me personally for sure.

don't pass up the Howl Sessions CD. a 6 Tracker that is out-freaking-standing.

I see one on amazon.com for $3 but it only has 3 tunes.

Edit: they do have a new CD coming out in March

The Beat the Devil's Tattoo single is already out. And it rocks.

Can't believe the Avett Brothers haven't been mentioned in this thread yet.

NPR interview with Black Francis about 25th anniversary of Doolittle. http://www.soundopinions.org/archive/2010/january.html you can download it to your mediaplayer. Awesome, interview kicks in at the 50 minute point. Classic CD, great interview IMHO. Enjoy.

Putting on my Big John hat for a minute...

If you were born in 74, you'd be 11 in 1985...a sophomore?

But then I looked closer and see the orginal post was a mistake and it was 1989 and 20 years, not 25...
