detlef
What might be the difference this time is that it could be money better spent than in the past. However, Spending more than twice the average hasn't gotten them a ring in some time.
SLAYER
You're right. I actually was thinking of that when I posted this. The first part of realizing that is acceptance Slayer..You should give it a try thing is we won't know what type of team chemistry will exist until they get together and start playing. Its a year to year thing usually, just ask the Rockies and Brewers. I am a Yankee fan, have been for most of my life, Just because I am a fan doesn't mean I approve of evrything they do as an orginization( learned this one from being a Saints fan) but that doesn't mean I won't root for them, that I will always do. They are not cheating or loopholing a rule they are playing within the guidelines set up by MLB. The funny thing is some of my favorite teams and Yankee players were from the bleak years Guidry, Mattingly, Munson. The bidding for Tex was: Yankees 8yrs/180 mil Red Sox 8 yrs/168 mil Nationals 9 yrs/180 mil Orioles 7yrs/140 mil So there are some teams willing to spend the money
