detlef
Too bad his team lost but it certainly wasn't for a lack of effort on his part. Another amazing game in a great season. Dude will certainly be making plays on Sundays. 3rd down conversion on a drive that ended up in a TD. Seems like he'll be a good YAC guy.
darin3
Managed to watch bits and pieces of this game... very exciting. Nicks, on first blush, looked a lot like Marques Colston. E2A: Nicks 's 6'1", 215 ... Colston's taller but maybe the young guy has another growth spurt? Edited December 28, 2008 by darin3
dirtdickens
The thing is their other WR Tate is the better player. Both are very impressive.
detlef
The thing is their other WR Tate is the better player. Both are very impressive. Tate was an amazing playmaker and a better returner but I think Hicks will translate better to the pro game. It was really too bad that Tate got injured. He was having a stellar season and really dampened UNC's chances. With both those guys on the field, they were really hard to stop.
dirtdickens
Nicks will be the better pro, but Tate could make a huge imapct in the right situation. I think he rang up a streak of games over 100 yards, really looked like a Steve Smith clone early in the year. One thing is for sure, Nicks made some money yesterday. As a Notre Dame fan I was very worried over the prospect of facing the two of them.
polksalet
Big time play for a kid from mid major. I hope the scouts notice him.
