Rockerbraves
Doesn't look like many are giving the Rebels a chance vs TT today. Not sure I can blame them either considering Ole Miss suspect secondary. Rebels defensive line is going to have to put pressure and get a few sack IMO if Ole Miss hopes to pull the upset. Got to think the outcome of this game could affect the betting line for the BCS NC expecially should Ole Miss pull out a win.
Sgt Ryan
How is that, Ole Miss beat FLA, and OU destroyed Tech. Do you ever make sense. Tech wins this game easily.

detlef
I'm sure that nobody is surprised to find that one of the QBs has 160 yds with 12 minutes to go in the half. Though they're likely surprised to find out it's Snead and not Harrell.
wildcat2334
Snead is legit and Ole Miss is a solid squad - this looks like it is gonna be a good one!
Sgt Ryan
Snead committed to FLA, then Tebow signed there. So he went to Texas, and Colt McCoy beat him out, so its onto Ole Miss after 1 year. Kid was a State Champion QB here in Texas. To think Bomar was the reason he didnt come to OU. That is a shame, though Bradford turned out OK for the Sooners. theeohiostate
Big 12 continues to disappoint this bowl season. All hype, no substance thus far. Their matchups have been the easiest in recent bowl game history. Huge lines , all favorites and doing nothing impressive. I'd expect this trend to continue with the Big 3 in this conference losing out. The bottom feeders were able to secure heavy match up advantages, but the big boys will be playing teams that can give out a punch. It'll be interesting to see these overhyped offenses crumble under extreme pressures of which none have faced all season.

wildcat2334
OVERRATED - period end of story. The Big 12 never got out and played people (cept OU) and this is the result. The league is a glorified WAC-K getting exposed by more athletic, balanced teams............. People go out and put yer YE bonuses on Ohio State and FLA Edited January 2, 2009 by wildcat2334

Huge difference in team speed and athleticism In Ole Miss favor. Ole Miss looks like a Top 5 team out there today. The Big 12 is definately overrated. Texas Tech getting used! Sgt Ryan
Regardless of the final result here, any doubts about the D in the Big XII this year have shown true. No joke. In 5 games, only 2 have scored more than 23 pts on Big 12 D.

theprofessor
Was I wrong about Penn St. Even I couldnt mistake those frauds for BCS contenders. Anyone that calls Penn State a fraud knows absolutely ZERO about college football. Penn State is a very good football team and had a great year but they ended their season having to play the best team in college football. Penn State is a class program and deserved more recognition then they got this year.
Sgt Ryan
Nice win for Ole Miss. This team with Snead and Houston Nutt is going to be a huge factor in the SEC next year. Impressive showing today. Maybe they were better than FLA.

Good good football team Much better team than anything I have seen from the Big 12 so far, that much is certain

Penn State is a very good football team and had a great year but they ended their season having to play the best team in college football. Penn State is a class program and deserved more recognition then they got this year. The Big 10 is a complete fraud. Luckily Iowa played S Carolina or this conference would have gone winless in bowls. For this conference to get an automatic bid to a BCS bowl is a crime. PennSt D was exposed for over 400 passing yards, and this game was never in question. 38-14 with 7 mins left Penn St scored 2 late mop up TDs to make it look closer that it actually was. Penn St maybe a class program, but they got exactly what they deserved by SC.

I cannot wait till FLA puts this dude and his team in their place. Edited January 2, 2009 by Flip_Side
