darin3
diet dew??? Well boys you are both in luck I like both captain Morgans and jack Daniels, maybe some Grey goose vodka as well Maybe a 24 pack of coors light as well You know I'll pitch in for the Jack and I'll be drinking Goose in the casino. I guess a few beers couldn't hurt. Maybe some regular Doritos too? Thanks man. You need to go back to Blondies, that place was perfect. IIRC, Hoffbrau has limited viewing. Yeah, Blondies is definitely the way to go.

I Like Soup
this is a great question. and how many of us on thurs? My flight lands at 6pm so I'll drop my stuff of at Hooters and meet y'all wherever we're going to be. I couldn't book my flight until I got a response from a customer and of course, the prices are quite high now...
darin3
Tonight was the final training for the liver. Didn't get too sideways but did have a good number of beers tonight. Rubbed elbows with a couple of local celebs from Friday Night Lights fame - cool guys to say the least - and enjoyed UT's ass-whoopin'. Looking forward to Thursday morning cocktails. Big Country
Had a couple Gentleman Jack and cokes last night as a warm up. Next few days are major family time. Today I take my oldest to see G-Force, than it is off to my wife's grandfather's 90th birthday party. Tonight is final prepping for a draft with my college buds. Resurrecting the league after a couple year hiatus. Debating if I should point out that with the scoring system they put in, QBs on average are going to score 2-3 times as much as RBs and WRs (based on huddle projections). Tomorrow is labor day... have the draft online in the AM, then off to a pool party. Tuesday, probably taking the oldest to Disneyland all day. Wednesday is taking him to school, then haircut, last minute provisioning for the trip. Then Thursday is off to Vegas.

jaxfactor
I'd like to know what most of you bring cash wise. Not the amount, but does anyone still use travelers checks? Do some of you just refuel with the ATM card when needed? Or do some of you just bring a wad of cash? The reason I'm asking is because I hate using the ATM machines. I'm a credit union member and if I use a non-CU ATM, I can get charged $3.00+ every time I use it. So needless to say, I rarely if ever use a non-CU ATM. I now it's the safer route but I refuse to give these bastages my money just for pressing a few buttons at an ATM machine. I brought cash last year and didn't have a problem. What say all of you? I usually bring a wad of cash then hit up the ATM. I think I only did it twice so $6 didn't seem too bad as far as fees.
rocknrobn26
I usually bring ~$400-$600 cash, then just hit the ATM's as needed. Used to supplement w/ TC's (No fee from the bank), but haven't for awhile. As far as ATM fees, I think they are ~$5 / transaction now in the casinos. THE SIX KINGS
H8 and I will be joining you at Hooters...sweet. Have fun guy's. Watch out for those 7 foot TV's that hang out in the lobby.
A.T.a.M
I will proberly bring 600 or 700 try to avoid hitting the ATM's. My ATM will only allow me to take out 500 per day. This is a good thing otherwise I would be a total degenerate gambler in Vegas.
jaxfactor
Probably go the cash route and leave a backup source in the checking account just in case. My bank no longer allows me to withdraw money from my savings account at ATMs. Not a big deal unless i forget to transfer $ from savings to checking. It happened to me once at the grocery store. I was pretty embarrassed but an on the spot call while a bunch of irate customers behind me looked on did the trick. One of the last things I remember last year on Thursday evening was giving D a c-note for our bill at Blondies. He said that was too much, but I ordered a round of tequila shots which alone cost $90, so I figured that was the least I could do. I always get crazy when I have cash in hand and a very good buzz. That's why I have to watch myself at the tables.

I only bring the cash I'm going to spend. No need to put myself in a position where I just keep going to the well and at the end of the trip be like ...how much money did I spend? I'm not a degenerate anyway when it comes to gambling so I'm all good. I will put meals on my credit card to ensure I have enough cab fare at the end of the trip to get to the airport if needed... Which reminds me to leave enough for my extended parking at the airport. Nobody to pick me up this time. I'm hoping they take credit cards. I'm sure they do. I'm hoping they take credit cards. I'm sure they do. I'm sure they do since people that travel quite a bit use those lots, especially for business. I use Preflight Parking if you need the name of one that uses credit cards...

Big Country
As far a i recall, no MGM entrance to miracle mile, as I believe Miracle Mile is a little bit down the street from MGM. A little bit of a walk ( which quickly turns in to a lot of a walk in Vegas heat) or a brief cab ride would cover it. Also, the Blondie's website had a coupon for $5 an order of $20 or more, one per table/per tab. I'm printing a bunch ofthem, so as long as we group up and get some separate tabs, they should let us use a few of these.
