HowboutthemCowboys
I thought I heard today on T.V. that the Cards have the 30th worst average against left handed pitching in the Majors. I may have imagined it, I was about half asleep. C'mon Wolf and Kershaw! Tough start tonight against Carpenter but I think if they can win tonight they win the series. This will be Wolf's first postseason start. He's been pitching well ( 6-1 in his last 10 starts), if he can get off to a good start and settle in I think he'll be O.K. LET'S GO DODGERS!! Big John
I see that the Cardinals wanted to go on an early "Holliday" tonight.

wiegie
To tell you how frustrating this series has been, my wife decided to surprise me by getting a baby-sitter so that we could go out for an early dinner tonight and I don't even care that I am going to miss most/all of the game tonight. horrendous (I'll say, though, that if the Cards can't somehow pull it out that I will root for the Dodgers to win it all--hopefully over the Yankees.) gilthorp
This team played like they were managed by Lou Pinella. Good riddance.
wiegie
This team played like they were managed by Lou Pinella. Good riddance. Seriously. A friend of mine who is a Cubs fan sent me an e-mail after the game on Thursday and said "Now you know what it is like to have Milton Bradley play outfield for you." I responded back that I almost knew now what it felt like to be a Cubs fan; and he responded back with "you will never know how that feels... good for you." Overall, what a horrible series for the Cardinals. The only thing that almost makes me see a silver lining is that Scott Boras is Matt Holliday's agent and he probably is less happy than I am now. Sure, The Cards should'be won game 2 but, no love for the Dodgers? I thought they pitched and played well..
gilthorp
Dodgers are solid. I expected them to win this series, but didn't expect the Cards to draw the collar. Dodgers/Yankees would be a great world series if it happens. Dodgers/Halo's, not so much.
