Shorttynaz
As a Cleveland fan this game makes me kinda sick watching Lee vs CC. What did the Indians get in return for both of these STUDS??

i_am_the_swammi
If Lee can split his starts with Sabathia, and turn this into a 5-game series, I think he Phils have a great shot. Â Â I am a boy.....Cliff Lee is a man.

Avernus
after game one...the series is now underway because I don't see Pedro doing this to the Yankees... Â any pitcher in this series not named Lee will get pummelled.... Â here's to hoping Lee pitches game 4 and we keep Blanton as an option for relief pitching because lord knows we need a quality pitcher when one of our starters gets abused (see: Hamels) Edited October 29, 2009 by Avernus

whomper
Great series so far. Phillies certainly not in awe of the Yanks and did what they needed to do by snagging a game at the stadium. Tomorrows game is hugh.
rhippens
happy with the split and getting so many pitches out of CC in game 1. love the 5-game series with 3 in philly left and a win in NY in everyone's mind. Â plenty of pressure on hamels for sure. both sides need to get their bats going more consistently. Â go phils!!!
Shorttynaz
The umpiring in game 2 was HORRENDUS! The strike zone was way too expanded, and the first base umpire made some really bad calls (for both teams).
isleseeya
Pedro did pretty darn well.  Yup surprised me  i do believe he is a 6 inning pitcher max at this stage and probably should have been pulled by 7th( before extra run was scored )  all in all nice job however

SLAYER
When Andy doesn't have it he also doesn't find it, Giradi better get his azz out of there before this gets out of hand.
irish
Not so sure that I would've been able to change that call from a double to a HR for A-ROD as that ball may not have made it out.
