I know not many huddlers will skip NFL to watch any soccer game, let along college, but I just wanted to give props to the Akron program. They are undefeated going into the final game vs. Virginia. I've seen them play in person twice this season (South Florida & Stanford), both were impressive wins. Stanford didn't even get a shot off in the 1st half, Akron just plays such a great possession game and smothering defense. Akron fan support is off the charts. Last nights semi-final vs. North Carolina was in Cary, NC and you could hear the Akron fans singing and chanting all game long. Didn't hear (or notice) the NC fans at all, and the game was more or less a home game for them! If you're a soccer fan at all, maybe set your DVR?
