major-tom
Wow, where does the coaching carousel begin - Gruden, Stoops or Dan Mullen possibly? Edited December 27, 2009 by major-tom
jaxfactor
I am completely shocked. I would like to see them hire an offensive coach. Mullen would be my top choice. Don't laugh, but Mike Shanahan comes to mind as well. The only problem with Shanny is that the NFL could lure him very easily.
untateve
:tears: If I had my pick, it would be Dan Mullens.
Ursa Majoris
Just saw this breaking news on CBS live scoring page: Urban Meyer is reconsidering and will now likely take a leave of absence instead of resigning as Florida's football coach, a source tells Mike Freeman of CBSSports.com. Multiple media sources say offensive coordinator Steve Addazio will be interim head coach.

budlitebrad
Bush. Clearly for the recruiting. http://www.tallahassee.com/article/2009123...-commits-to-FSU An era will end on Friday in Jacksonville. Another one appears to be beginning in sensational fashion. The Jimbo Fisher regime picked up yet another monster commitment on Thursday afternoon when Palm Beach All-American safety Matt Elam switched from the Florida Gators and pledged his services to the Seminoles. “I’m going to Florida State because I see a better opportunity for me and I want to be a difference maker,” Elam told ESPN on Thursday. Elam is a five-star recruit and is ranked No. 14 in the nation by Rivals.com and 13th by ESPN.com. He becomes the third elite prospect to commit to Fisher and the Seminoles since head coach Bobby Bowden announced his retirement earlier this month. Treasure Coast linebacker Jeff Luc (ranked No. 6 in the nation by ESPN) and St. Thomas Aquinas cornerback LaMarcus Joyner (ranked No. 5) both said “yes” to Florida State in the last three weeks.
