Theories of the origin of man coming from aliens have been around for a while and go back seemingly thousands of years in history. I think it is exceptionally plausible that we did descend from aliens, but think it is more likely that we evolved from fauna that existed on this planet. THough, the flora and fauna that initilly came about on this planet, from which we are ultimately descended, were definitely the result of "alien" flora and fauna that traveled here, at some point in time billions of years ago, via a space borne object.
