SeductiveNun
Still need to take the next game in order to make it a series. This was a nice turnaround though.
i_am_the_swammi
Nice job of letting the Habs and Halak regain their confidence. Looked like they took a page from the Penguins playbook No one thought this would be a sweep. I said earlier that the 6-0 win in Game 1 was not the Flyers being that good, or the Habs being that bad. Just the way the game flowed. Last night was the same. Leighton is not a goalie who can win a game by himself. He needs solid defense in front of him, so he only occasionally needs make a big stop. He had little of either last night. Series is going likely 6-7 games, and anyone who thought otherwise was kidding themselves.

SeductiveNun
Two stupid, costly turnovers and a very sloppy second period. Hell, don't play like this is an important game or anything.
buddahj
1 win away!!!
i_am_the_swammi
Aside from the first 5 minutes of the 3rd period, when the Habs were in swarm-mode, that may have been the most complete game I have seen the Flyers play in years. Holding the home team to 1 shot in the 2nd period, while generating enough scoring chances to take a 2-0 lead? Unreal. I think the Flyboys close this thing out at home in a big way Monday...and then we are in
Avernus
that Richards play in the 1st period was the most dominant I've seen a Flyer look over the span of :30 since the Lindros-in-his-prime days....

SeductiveNun
Congratulations Flyers, well done! It seemed that with the exception of Game 3, the Flyers were always a step and a half ahead of Montreal, be it a battle for a loose puck, or having someone open in the slot, or blocking shots. Keep that momentum going and good luck in the finals!

Hugh 0ne
Flyers vs. Hossa............................ F my life. The Penguins beating Hossa last year has softened my hatred enough that I'd rather have him win then the Flyers, but I feel your pain. gilthorp
Well this is just the Flyers championship because if you haven't heard, there is this hex on Hossa since he left Pittsburgh, he'll never win a Cup. Congratulations Flyers fans. You deserve this series.
