TimC
The sad thing is that there is NO way whomever wins actually makes it past their next match... I'd bet that both of these could take on their next opponent 2 versus 1 and still lose from the fatigue they must be facing. I can only imagine the leg cramps at night. Unreal. TimC
It really dramatizes how much the serve has completely taken over tennis. It is soooo tough to break someone in today's tennis world.

Amazing. 68-68., and as I type this, Isner down 0-30 serving.

It is soooo tough to break someone in today's tennis world. well, it is toughest on grass. but that's kinda how it's been for a long time. I mean, how often did boris becker or stefan edberg lose their serve at wimbledon?

montster
i tuned in just in time to watch one point -- the last one. so, how were the other 11 hours, 4 minutes and 30 seconds of the match?
montster
this'll be a great story for mahut to tell his kids someday. mahut: i played the longest match in tennis history, 11 hours and five minutes. his kid: really, daddy? how'd you do? mahut: yup, the longest match ever ... his kid: why are you crying, daddy? buddahj
Isner lost in straight sets today. I'm sure I'm not the only one that thought this would happen.
