Ursa Majoris
I might of missed it but being in the west, the 49ers would be a good fit. That conference is putrid. You did miss it earlier. Mixing Singletary and Moss would be like juggling nitroglycerine.

Whiskey Pimp
I think anyone in the AFC or NFC West divisions could get him since they are all still in the division hunt.
Balzac
Randy is a shell of his former self, and is an average receiver at this point. Somebody mentioned it back on page 2 or three, but the pass in the fourth quarter where they called defensive PI was still a VERY catchable ball. Randy just watched it hit the goal line. He is done. D O N E Â not sure I agree with this - he was excellent last season. you think he just completely fell off a cliff this season? I'm not sure - he doesn't look much different to me. still getting open same way he did last year - his teams have just been content to use him as a decoy and go to other options. Moss being on any particular team doesn't necessarily benefit Moss, it benefits all the other receivers.

I guess so.  My other wrs have been carrying me anyway...Maclin, Knox, MX Williams, Thomas.

Balzac
Exactly. Moss being on any particular team doesn't necessarily benefit Moss, it benefits all the other receivers. Â I didn't believe it at first, but I guess teams just really don't want to pay him next year. They'd rather have him sucker the opposing D, opening up the rest of the field than throw to him . . . because we all know that if he accumulates stats, he gets paid. I actually think he "fell off a cliff" at the end of last year. He was a no show in several games. When is the last time you saw Randy catch the jump ball, which used to be his specialty? He's never been a great route runner. He's quit giving effort. He's not athletic as when he was younger. He's done.

theeohiostate
NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports that "not all in the (Vikings') organization" were on board with coach Brad Childress' intent to waive Randy Moss when he told players it would happen in a team meeting Monday."Stay tuned," writes La Canfora. "This could still take another twist and turn." It sounds like Childress didn't consult all of the Vikings' higher ups before holding Monday morning's meeting. The Vikings have yet to contact Moss or his agent. It's extremely difficult to imagine Moss staying with the Vikings after all heck broke loss on Sunday night and Monday, but the decision to waive him has at least been delayed. Â Â This proves Childress is an idiot. I hope he is forced to take Moss back, lol.
CaptainHook
Isn't this exactly what we all predicted when Randy went to New England from Oakland? One or two great seasons, and an implosion. The Pats were just smart enough to trade him before it happened. They saw this coming.
