Kid Cid
One of those wines that I wanted to like but just couldn't. http://www.corrundum.net/post/Laetitia-Est...alley-2007.aspx
Lucky11
interesting notes. i agree with your assertion that sensitivity to Brett varies widely person to person, and this can be a large factor in how the wine is perceived and enjoyed. personally,i don't mind a bit of Brett in my Pinot, though my guess is that i'm not overly sensitive to it. i was checking some notes on CT and none there mentioned anything about Brett. do you rate your sensitivity as higher than most? just curious. Yeah, I think I am more sensitive to it. I can usually pick it up before I get my nose in the glass. To be perfectly fair, I have had wines where it helped the flavor but the impression it leaves on the nose is just too much of a turn off for me. This is where it really helps to know your wine reviewer. For instance, E. Robert Parker loves Brett bombs. Its one of the reasons that I've never been enthralled by his wine ratings.
