SeductiveNun
I didn't want this to get lost in the NHL thread. I never met the man, but by all accounts Boogey was one of the nicest guys off the ice, and was always working with children's charities. There are quite a few articles out there on Yahoo and CBS talking about him and his career, so I'm not going to put up a bunch of links. Suffice it to say he was a class guy, not the most talented player in the world, but always was a hard worker. Way too young, he will be missed. Hugh 0ne
Terribly sad. I ignorantly always thought of him as nothing more than a goon. And while he may have been a fighter without a ton of hockey talent, apparently he was a great guy and a great teammate.
Ursa Majoris
On top of the news about Harmon Killebrew, Friday was a pretty tough day for Minnesota sports. It puts the fact that all our teams suck into perspective.

SeductiveNun
Saw that, really sad. I read he was going to get treatment under the NHL/NHLPA substance abuse program as well. Oxycodone is very addictive I've been told.
