TheShiznit
OK, Keg or Darin, I may need some schooling here, but I just got offered James Anderson for Nick Barnett. Guy is talking about how he was a stud last year...yada...yada...yada. Wasn't Thomas Davis hurt last year and James Anderson spent most, if not all year, on the weakside. Isn't he now back on the strong side with Thomas Davis healthy and back on the weakside....meaning left to pursue down the line to make tackles....while James will rush the passer and cover a tight end or possible running back for the pass? Am I missing something here....or is this a left right alignment situation....where the WLB and SLB are really not different? Thanks! keggerz
I am not going nuts about Anderson at all...IF Beason ends up being out for an extended period then that would change but as it is now I see him as a LB3 at best.....tell the guy trying to trade him to you if he is such a stud that he should keep him.....fwiw, I have Barnett as a possible low end LB1 to high end LB2 at worst this year....and Davis is healthy and playing WLB too
electricrelish
Keep Barnett!!
Zooty
Agree with above. I'd much rather have Barnett. Though I would prefer Anderson to Clay Matthews
