Yanks fans, thoughts on A-Rod? Or is now a bad time to ask?

I love how he looks at the pitcher with that fake scowl then whiffs like a bitch when they need him most

I'll be completely stunned if the Phils don't win in 4 games or less. St. Louis starting and relief pitching has been brutal all year (even Carpenter for stretches). What got St. Louis here was theor #1 offense in the NL, which I think can be more than offset by the Phils outstanding pitching.

Phils in 3.

I won't lie, when the Cardinals went down 4-0 in Game 2, I came on here and almost posted that I completely agree with what you wrote.

I'm glad I stopped myself.

and if someone told you the Cards would be held to 3.8 runs/game I don't think you or anyone else would have expected they would have won this series.

Congrats to the Cards and their fans...many will say the Phils choked but that isn't fair to the Cards...they played one he1l of a series.

No way did they choke... awesome series and both teams played great. Carp was aces tonight for 9 innings. Halladay was aces for 8.

Game - set - match.

That's true but there's no getting around the jinx that swammi laid on them right in this thread.

This series was tough to watch because I seriously hate both these teams, but Carpenter was amazing, as was Halliday.

A great game to watch for sure.

One of these days you'll wise up and stop watching that minor league team of yours over in KC.
