So you're hoping Bud Selig kills himself because the ratings after this will be so bad.

Chief Dick
Man, I was on the edge of my seat watching that thing. I'll root for the Tigers only because of Leyland. He's been pretty classy over the years regarding talking about the Royals.

wiegie
I'll be completely stunned if the Phils don't win in 4 games or less. St. Louis starting and relief pitching has been brutal all year (even Carpenter for stretches). What got St. Louis here was theor #1 offense in the NL, which I think can be more than offset by the Phils outstanding pitching. Phils in 3. I won't lie, when the Cardinals went down 4-0 in Game 2, I came on here and almost posted that I completely agree with what you wrote. I'm glad I stopped myself. keggerz
Congrats to the Cards and their fans...many will say the Phils choked but that isn't fair to the Cards...they played one he1l of a series.

No way did they choke... awesome series and both teams played great. Carp was aces tonight for 9 innings. Halladay was aces for 8. Game - set - match. Chief Dick
This series was tough to watch because I seriously hate both these teams, but Carpenter was amazing, as was Halliday. A great game to watch for sure.
