jetsfan
In a stinging verdict on nine months of army control, London-based rights group Amnesty International accused the ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) of brutality sometimes exceeding that of former President Hosni Mubarak. The revolutionaries are just as brutal as the dictator they deposed. Where have we seen this before
SEC=UGA
The revolutionaries are just as brutal as the dictator they deposed. Where have we seen this before Sri Lanka, Djibuti, Equatorial Ghana, Rhodesia, Somalia, Rwanda, Venezuela, Nicaragua...
Furd
Exactly. That's why, among other reasons, I don't get it when some people around here got all when Mubarak and Gaddafi went down, particularly when they toed the line with repect to the US. Clubfoothead
The revolutionaries are just as brutal as the dictator they deposed. Where have we seen this before These aren't the revolutionaires. This is the same military as under Mubarak. To act like the military counsel wasn't running things when Mubarak was around would probably be incorrect. Of course you have seen this before. So have the Egytptians. Same pig different lipstick. I think that may be what they are upset about.
