godtomsatan
Anyone want to gander a shot at a fantasy MLS season? Just to give it a try? Not even sure how to score it???
irish
Not that I'd even know where to begin but that would be a very interesting league/fantasy sport to start up. Points for assists, goals, saves, etc. How many teams, players on a team, # of players to start or would it be a matter of selecting entire teams and using the players' stats from each team (that wouldn't be as much fun though). detlef
Wow, not much to tally considering that there's like 2 pts per team each game, if that.

godtomsatan
Wow, not much to tally considering that there's like 2 pts per team each game, if that. I've seen different scoring packages. Most sites with leagues don't have rosters though, rather they have the weekly "select-a-lineup" kind of thing where everyone has access to the same players. You'd almost have to do some team dependent stats (+/- kinds of things) an different positions score different levels of points. This is the Yahoo! scoring for their game, based on positions. There's a lot more stats here than the standard MLS game though. Stat Abbr G D M F Assist A 4 4 4 4 Blocked Shot BS 2 2 2 2 Clean Sheet CS 6 6 - - Corner Won CW 1 1 1 1 Foul Committed FC -.5 -.5 -.5 -.5 Foul Won FW .5 .5 .5 .5 Goal G 7 7 7 7 Goal Conceded GA -3 - - - Last Ditch Tackle ST 2 2 2 2 Loss L -2 - - - Match Winning Goal MWG 2 2 2 2 Own Goal OG -3 -3 -3 -3 Pass Intercepted PI .5 .5 .5 .5 Penalty Conceded PC -3 -3 -3 -3 Penalty Kick Missed or Saved PKM -6 -6 -6 -6 Penalty Save PKS 8 - - - Red Card RC -6 -6 -6 -6 Save SV 2 - - - Free-kick Goal SPG 3 3 3 3 Shot on Target SOT 3 3 3 3 Successful Cross SC 1 1 1 1 Tackle Won TW .5 .5 .5 .5 Draw DR 1 - - - Win W 4 - - - Yellow Card YC -3 -3 -3 -3 This is another website's scoring system that seems a little more straight forward.....
