matt770
Sausage, onion, green pepper and pineapple. Best place in our immediate area is called Vincent's, started by a genuine goombah from NYC. Although if I'm at a REALLY good place, I order the plain pizza to really appreciate their craft. The one place I can say made the perfect pie was John's on Bleecker St. in NYC. My wife and I would go out of our way for their pizza and never ordered a single topping. The pizza was so sublime that we'd just look at each other, shaking our heads in disbelief as we ate. What say you? Favorite spot & toppings. We've got folks here from coast to coast. IMO a pizza thread transcends the food & drink forum. CaP'N GRuNGe
I always go for the Taco pizza at Happy Joe's when in Fargo.

Bier Meister
like all kinds of good pies. usual go-to is salami (if no salami, sausage), mushroom, with both pesto and tomato sauces. my favorite around here is giorgio's. gaspare's has one of my favorite combos: linguica, salami, mushrooms, garlic, olive oil, oregano....awesome! WashingtonD
Lou Malnati's delivered a spectacular chicago style pie to my table when I was in Chicago last month with my family, but my favorite pie is going to be the spicy clam and bacon pie from the Lost Dog Pub out in Dennis MA (Cape Cod) White pizza, with clams, garilc, generous portion of bacon, and some hot peppers...delicious

loaf
Local Icon place is called Mama Santa's but I don't find them the best. The best is Geraci's and their pepperoni. It's another local spot that's been on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives

Gino's is good for a pan, but next time it will be Salerno's. Thick w/ lots of ingredaments, medium crust.

bpwallace49
Spoken like a true Packer Fan...no taste. :oldrazz: Than salernos??? Any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Not even close. I would place Gino's over Lou's, I was referring to salernos.
