jetsfan
There is no other reason to keep playing Gabbert. Henne is in now due to an "injury.". Gabbert couldnt hit a wide open WR, how is he still employed?
keggerz
He looked much better last week...the Texans D is no joke Edited September 16, 2012 by keggerz
BeeR
Perhaps because they realize most QBs don't become instant stars and giving up on your 1st round draft pick QB after barely over a year (esp when he's had little to with) isn't exactly a wise move? WildTurkey
I didn't catch any of this game, speaking of first round picks where the heck was Blackmon on the stat sheet?
Gopher
He looked much better last week...the Texans D is no joke And Minnesota's is.
ABearWithFurniture
I didn't catch any of this game, speaking of first round picks where the heck was Blackmon on the stat sheet? Blackmon was heavily blanketed by the Texans secondary...had quite a few passes thrown his way but was well defended.
DMD
Blackmon had four targets. I would not say all is lost for the Jags unless you exclude MJD. Then, yeah, pretty much all is lost.
keggerz
And Minnesota's is. Not near the level that the Texan's D is.
detlef
Not near the level that the Texan's D is. I think he was saying that Minn D is a joke.
jetsfan
There were several times in the game where a better QB would have made a completion of the same throw. Gabbert was consistently throwing balls out of the reach of his receivers. It became pretty obvious before his fake injury that they couldn't move the ball with him in the game. Does Henne start going forward? At least he was putting the ball where his receivers could catch it.

MikesVikes
What is the opposite of the prevent defense? Allow defense. The Vikings play a lot of that this year.
Big John
What is the opposite of the prevent defense? Allow defense. The Vikings play a lot of that this year. Since a prevent defense prevents victories, you are 1-1 in the opposite.
