chester
At our cottage that we use on the weekends in the summer we have a 2 year old electric water heater (tank). We're there almost every weekend. Is it worthwhile to flip the breaker off when we leave and turn it on when we come back? I've heard that it's bad for the unit to turn it on and off frequently. So the 2 questions are: Is it bad for it? Will it save $?
bushwacked
Don't most of these units have vacation settings?
moneymakers
i wouldnt turn the breaker off. You could just turn the thermostate down to warm.
