TitansFan Posted November 13, 2012 Share Posted November 13, 2012 I had similar problems trying to get a mortgage back in July/August. The bank kept coming up with issue after issue, and I had to jump through hoops to get through them. I eventually got fed up and went to bank #2 to see what they could do. Within hours I had full approval from every necessary department plus a better interest rate, so I cancelled with bank #1 and went ahead with bank #2. Three weeks later I officially owned my first home. I don't know if switching banks in an option for you, but I am immensely glad I did.
