Terrelle Pryor worth a spot?!

I waited way too long to draft a QB and now I need help! In a 12 team PPR league. Should I pick up Pryor and stash him???!!!

My current QBs

Ben Roethlisberger

Josh Freeman

How big is your roster? If it's redraft, probably not. If it's dynasty, then yeah, I would grab him. Pryor has upside, but that team looks dreadful. Is Manuel out there?

Redraft. Manuel is not out there. Actually other than QB my team is stacked. I waited too long to adress QB, plus its 4 pts. per passing TD in this league. I had Tebow in 2011 and he was putting up about 20 pts per game.

I don't think Big Ben is bad. He's undervalued this season. Freeman put up monster at the start of last season. He has looked bad recently. You could take a shot at Weeden.

Well, a lot depends on who you have to drop. Freeman and Roth aren't slouches, and none of the available QBs are likely to do significantly better, if at all better. I don't think I'd drop one of the QBs for any of the available guys, but if you have two kickers or defenses rosters or some other fodder, then I would certainly suggest rostering a third QB with upside - I'd put Weeden and Pryor as the more sleeper type with a chance to breakthrough (Weeden more than Pryor - Pryor is just mentioned for his running ability as well, so you are not relying on his arm). Tannehill would be 3rd on my list with Ponder 4th

If it were a 12 team league starting 3 QBs, you STILL wouldn't want Pryor. Even with him constantly playing behind and knowing DM is likely injured by week 3 to cripple the running game, I just wouldn't trust Pryor's ability to throw to his own guys or run in the right direction.
