Could Use Some LBer Help

Recommended Posts

Been a rough year for my Lbers. Been having to plug guys in but doing ok so far. I need to play three. 2 point per tackle / 1 point asst tackle / 3 pts per saftey, ff, etc

Wagner - injured / out

Shazier - probable

Bartu

Burris, Miles

Hali

Riley - probable

Compton (Rileys backup)

J Thomas (Poz backup)

I am pretty sure I will roll with Thomas, he should see a lot of action.

I like Shazier against the Colts, he should be a go.

I am having trouble with the other one. I like Riley against the Cowboys. Looks like he will play. If not could plug in Compton but that would hurt.

Maybe Bartu against the Lions but not crazy about it.

Anyone?

Don't get too confident in Thomas, it may be Geno Hayes taking over for Poz.

the head coach said himself it's likely Thomas would be taking over at MLB. And then there is this quote from this week

"I'm definitely up for it," Thomas said. "The way this defense works, the middle linebacker has a little more freedom and ability to make plays. This gives me a chance to contribute even more to what we have going on here and be the leader that I feel I am."

In the linebacker meeting Monday, LaRoy Reynolds said Thomas was already leading with his words.

Thomas' move back to the middle will create an opportunity for Reynolds and Dekoda Watson to start at the Otto spot. Link: http://www.mcall.com/sports/mc-jaguars-posluszny-branch-injured-20141021-story.html
