StoneWall
He won't get 10 if he keeps fumbling. And that talk won't happen when Davis is on the field, racking up yards. Hollings is only in to keep Davis fresh and block, like with Ahman Green and Davenport, due to his lack of experience at RB.
ts
I hope this pans out. Remember, Min hasn't always been RBBC. They had some dude that retired a few years ago that did alright. 353336 ...maybe not RBBC between the 20's in the Robert Smith days, but Leroy Hoard was always the man near the goal line. Rovers
OK, ten touches.... that still leaves DD with about 25 touches. I figure Bennett for 15 to 20, max! Williams gets 8, maybe 10, and Smith is good for 5. Yes, Minny will pass more than houston. The Houston RB's are good for 35 touches, Minny RB's, more like 30. That is my take on it, anyways, but I think Hollings gets more like 5 to 10 touches. Like with Taylor, they say one week they want to use the rook more, but then turn around and say when Taylor gets 25 carries, they win. I dont buy into what coaches "wish" for in preseason. When the season starts, and Capers knows Hollings is a fumbler....who gets the ball? DD DOES.
StoneWall
That is a hard decision, Will Capers give 1) his #1 RB 25 carries or 2) will he give his #1 RB 15 carries and give his fumbling back up RB 10-15 carries? Hard choice there....

Hard choice there.... 354478 all I'm saying is what he said he's doing going into the season....talk to the coach about that... Green doesn't lose that many touches to Davenport unless he gets dinged...Capers is talking about giving over 10 carries to another back....I don't know how many teams run the ball 40 times a game between 2 backs... CaptainHook
What in the hell are you guys arguing about? IF Michael Bennett can stay healthy AND be productive, I truly believe Tice will get him the majority of the carries. Does this mean that you won't see Onterrio Smith or Moe Williams? OF COURSE NOT. Smith and Williams will get some touches. I am basing this belief on the second half of the 2002 season. Early that year, Williams was stealing A LOT of carries and TD's from Bennett. However, when Bennett showed he could handle even the goal line carries, Tice stuck with him. I've watched this situation closely, as I drafted Michael Bennett in a dynasty draft. Bennett WILL lose carries to Smith and Williams this year regarldless of how he plays, due to the fact that those guys are on the roster, but I believe Bennett will get the lion's share. I have him as my #3 back. Edited August 18, 2004 by CaptainHook

Swiss Cheezhead
I've said this alot, but I wouldn't take a back from a talented team like the Vikings or Colts. There are too many people who can take TDs away from their backs to be fantasy productive. 353346 Yeah, Edgerrin James hardly EVER scored -- even before he hurt his knee. MikesVikes
I wouldn't take Bennett over Davis. Davis plays SD, Det, KC, Oak, and Min in his first 5 weeks. 354034 Here's another time that I was way off base. Sorry guys! Skrappy1
Here's another time that I was way off base. Sorry guys! 564152 You couldn't have predicted Davis's injury, and Bennett has done absolutely nothing yet this whole year. Despite what Tice is saying this week, I really don't know that that is going to change.

MikesVikes
Just a shame that I didn't get Edge, Culpepper, and Tiki in my local league. Givens in the 11th (I believe) to compensate for Bow wow Boston among others would've been alright, too.
