A tale of two over rated teams

In terms on NE my point comes from the overwhelming homerism I'm hearing ( not here) saying They are a shoe in to win the afc. I'm saying they aren't even a shoe in to win next week. I like how KC matches up. You're right about KC.. no matter who you play , 11 straight wins in the NFL is very tough to do

03/04 Pats -21 games in a row. Lol. I think it will be a good game. It will come down to a final possession.

Someone fill me in how KC is going to score?

A hobbled Maclin? Jammal Charles Miracle comeback? Somehow West and Ware stop splitting time? Kelce just goes nuts and Smith throws the ball downfield?

Maclin was only 3-29 last game and they still managed to put up 30. Need more of the same, Strong D and ST play creating opportunities for the O to capitalize on.

The threat of Maclin is enough to help the other guys who really aren't very good,

so the KC D will capitalize on Tom Brady being as inept as Hoyer?

I guess if the Eagles can beat the Pats, anyone can

Also possible Maclin available according to Rotoworld

Chiefs coach Andy Reid calls Jeremy Maclin's high-ankle sprain "mild," and believes he could practice later in the week.

If Maclin's sprain is "mild" perhaps it's not a high sprain at all, but either way, he's suddenly trending in the right direction for Saturday's game against the Patriots. Even if Maclin is only available as a decoy, it would be a huge boost to the Chiefs' odds of springing a road upset.

Just curious how West and Ware splitting time prevents the Chiefs from scoring. It has actually been very successful this season. The Ware/West combo has been one of the largest reasons they have won 11 games in a row. Smith takes his shots. He isn't Joe Flacco, but he puts the ball in the air more than the analysts talk about.

I needed filler for my list, LOL.

Actually I thought West was the more productive back but Ware has been getting more touches the last couple weeks?

 Who am I to question the genius of Andy Reid.

As far as Smith, I must watch them at the wrong time b/c I see a caretaker who would rather run for 5 yards than throw near coverage.

As much as I like West, defenses appear to have figured him out. He has a 2.86 ypc over the last 2 games, while Ware is sitting at a healthy 4.47.

Chiefs' injury report looks a bit scary...Non-participants in practice today:

Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (Starting RG)

Mitch Morse (Starting C)

Tamba Hali (Starting OLB)

Jeremy Maclin (WR1)

Spencer Ware (RB1A)
