Switched to Playstation Vue and subscribed to their $10 per month sports package during football season which includes the RedZone channel (basically $40 per season). It's been awesome and no more haggling every year (and I'm the kind of person I negotiate on everything). The monthly cost of Playstation Vue excluding sports package is less than $50 per month (vs $100+ for DirecTV) which also created additional savings throughout the year. And no, I don't work for Sony. I just like their service. PS Vue is probably the best way to get Redzone legally. Technically SlingTV has Redzone cheaper but for me it was much more unstable and to also have ESPN the cost raises to right about where PS Vue is. I am also able to pull in NBC, FOX, and CBS on Vue whereas SlingTV I didn’t get any locals. Another note on PS Vue or streaming in general is no contracts, which I love. Once NFL season wraps I cancel Vue and go to YouTube TV for MLB and get all local channels for $40 a month.

But then I'm not into all the latest technology or have any experience with reddit. Why does anybody pay for Sunday Ticket if they can watch every game using this, including the many bars that do it? No idea, but it's really easy and convenient. It has it's hiccups here and there, but now I have more money for beer
