Osweiler sucks!

John Elway is looking like a genius!

I saw somewhere on Twitter a few weeks ago Elway said something like "sometimes, the best deals are the ones you don't make". Ouch.

I have Hopkins as my WR1 in one of my dynasties. I've been winning in spite of his suckage, not that it's fully his fault. Thanks to guys like Diggs breaking out, Hopkins as one of my mid-level guys hasn't killed me. If he and Oz get it together, all the better.

I drafted Hopkins, Bell, and K. Allen in one of my 16 team leagues. I thought I would be laughing it up to the championship. Now I'm barely afloat at 3-3.

Would any team in the NFL trade for Osweiler now?

I though the would be much better with Miller, Hopkins and Fuller.

When he goes to Denver, the fans are going to have a field day on him.

He has the last laugh though - that big contract.

I read this alot. Denver offered him big $

Denver offered him a deal in line with what a 4 year back up turned starter who won afew tough games should make. 3 years at around $13 million a year. It's irrelevant however, Osweiler didn't WANT to resign in Denver. Reports came out after he left saying he ignored texts and calls from Elway days prior to signing with Houston.

I'm admittedly still alittle butthurt about the whole situation, and wish there could have been a scenario where Miller inked a deal prior to seasons end freeing up the franchise tag up for Osweiler so we could have used our #1 draft pick on a replacement for Trevathan or Jackson or even some oline help.

Oh well

But they didn't match Houston's offer. The Broncos made a large offer because Osweiler had shown some flashes and kept the team afloat for the championship run. I think this is a reflection on a new system, new coaching staff and possibly Osweiler getting complacent with a huge bank account balance. Houston's signing of Osweiler reeked of desperation when they first inked the deal, and it looks like a huge mistake now in hindsight. Glad it worked out for the Broncos this way.

Another example of how the surrounding cast and coaches impact a player when changing teams. Something fans need to remember when they say stuff like "Wentz is great, Browns were stupid not to draft him." Oz looked pretty good as a Bronco, haven't seen him play with HOU much if at all.

He needs to stop worrying about Jacob and Bella running away together and just concentrate on being the best QB vampire he can be.

Anyone else think he looks just like that tool Robert pattinson from the twilight movies.

What's a twilight movie?
