Finn5033
Not surprised. They have a ton of talent and for some reason took a huge step back on offense this year. D is much improved though. 14 wins in almost 4 full years isn't going to get it done

darin3
"for some reason took a huge step back on offense this year". his name is Blake Bortles When you have a serious digression in a promising young QB, it falls on the head coach. So, you're partially right. But not really.
Monsterofthemidway
I think it's a smart move for the Jags. Even when Bortles was playing decent he was consistently put in 2nd and 3rd and longs with Bradley's game plan. Now an NFL player is working on throwing mechanics at this point in his career?? Not to mention, ZERO running game. Very underrated young defense. Too much potential not to let Bradley go.
Dolphin_Akie
Only surprise is that they waited so long when we all knew he wouldn't be back in 2017. Seems odd to get rid of him with just two games left but guess they want to a head start on their search for a replacement.

That and it gives them the opportunity to audition some of their younger talent. Someone mentioned that when Jeff Fisher was canned. Sometimes the HC's pride gets in the way and force-feeds the status quo, which doesn't help anyone.
kdko
No more player coaches, they need someone who's a hard ass that will bring discipline to a team that's this young and talented.
flemingd
Bill Belichick's record since 2003: 174-48 Gus Bradley's record since 2012: 14-48 160 wins = 10 years' worth of perfect records Edited December 21, 2016 by flemingd

Belichick could go winless for the next 41 seasons and still have a better winning percentage than Bradley.
