nrbroadhurst
The following rosters were drafted using Fantasy Pros drafting algorithm, one using the ECR (Expert Consensus Ranking) and one using VBD (Value Based Drafting). Both teams were drafted from the 6th position in a 12 man standard scoring league. VBD appears to favor RB's and take QB/TE early whereas ECR does not. Which team would you prefer? VBD ECR 1.6: LeSean McCoy 1.6: OBJ 2.7: Todd Gurley 2.7: Leonard Fournette 3.6: Isaiah Crowell 3.6: Doug Baldwin 4.7: Travis Kelce 4.7: Joe Mixon 5.6 Andrew Luck 5.6: Andrew Luck 6.7: Tyreek Hill 6.7: C.J. Anderson 7.6: Tevin Coleman 7.6: Donte Moncrief 8.7: Martavis Bryant 8.7: Ameer Abdullah 9.6: Eric Decker 9.6: Zach Ertz 10.7: Samaje Perine 10.7: Cameron Meredith 11.6: Devante Parker 11.6: Eric Ebron 12.7: Marcus Mariota 12.7: Marcus Mariota 13.6: Coby Fleener 13.6: Jamaal Williams 14.7: Tyrell Williams 14.7: Marlon Mack 15.6: Stephen Gostkowski 15.6: Stephen Gostkowski 16.7: Baltimore Ravens Defense 16.7: Baltimore Ravens Defense
Chucklar
Your QB's were both taken same draft pick same guy...I def like Kelce over ertz...but wouldn't go 3 RB in a row unless maybe it was a 3 start league...I don't know I see pros and cons to both... nrbroadhurst
Looks like the Value Based Drafting feature picks RB's early because there is a sharper decline in output from next available player than WR's. It also takes QB's and TE's too early for my taste. It appears to basically take the contrarian pick to what everyone is doing in the draft because the value is where they aren't picking.
